Poppy Jacobs is a Canadian screenwriter and blogger. A hopeless romantic and infatuation junkie. Her website fromtheffiles.com is a dating and relationship blog based around her many failed dating experiences on her journey to finding Mr. Right. “F” is for fail.
Where are you based?
What do you love about what you do?
Turning an experience that was a major “fail” into something positive that will hopefully entertain and enlighten others. Dating is tough. When things don’t work out, don’t get mad, write about it.
What’s your best bit of dating advice?
Don’t settle. It’s hard to find “the one”, but don’t settle for someone just because you don’t want to be alone. How is “the one” going to find you if you’re taken?
What else should we know about you?
Poppy Jacobs studied screen-writing for film and television. She has a number of completed feature screenplays as well as options for two half hour romantic comedy series. Recently she started blogging about her dating experiences to allow her writing to reach a broader audience.
Despite having been on over 200 first dates (and still single) she is optimistic that Mr. Right is just around the corner. After all, the night is young and full of possibilities.
